Christopher Campanile, MD, PhD, received a B.S. in Biochemistry and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Wisconsin. He received his Medical Degree from the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Campanile completed the Brown University Residency Program in Family Medicine and is currently a Clinical Associate Professor in Family Medicine at Brown Medical School.

Dr. Campanile speaks Spanish and some Portuguese, and has served patients in the Blackstone Valley for over ten years. He is also the Chair of the Rhode Island Chronic Care Collaborative which works with practices around the state to improve their care of patients with diabetes and other chronic illnesses. In addition, he is a consultant to Quality Partners of Rhode Island (QPRI), the Quality Improvement Organization for Medicare beneficiaries in Rhode Island. QPRI seeks to ensure that Rhode Islanders covered by Medicare receive quality care for chronic illness and preventive care.
