Lloyd Feit, MD

Pediatric Cardiologist

Lloyd R. Feit, MD, is a pediatric cardiologist with the Pediatric Heart Center at Hasbro Children's Hospital and an associate professor of pediatrics at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He received his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. He completed a general pediatrics residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York City, with an additional year as fellow in pediatric education. He then completed his pediatric cardiology training and fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine.

Dr. Feit joined the pediatric cardiology division at Rhode Island Hospital in 1991, and helped coordinate the inception of the new Hasbro Children's Hospital as inpatient director from 1994 until 2000. He was the director of pediatric cardiology and the Pediatric Heart Center from 2010 through 2022.

Board certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology, Dr. Feit’s clinical and research interests include all aspects of pediatric cardiology, with special emphasis on psychosocial adjustment in patients and families with congenital heart disease (CHD) and cardiac symptoms, transitional care of patients with congenital heart disease, fetal cardiology diagnosis and management, and Fontan-associated liver disease, in patients with single ventricle physiology.

Dr. Feit is the founder and medical director of Gabrielle’s Heart Camp, established in 2011. The overnight camp’s mission is to allow kids with CHD to have a fun experience while learning basics about their cardiac condition. At camp, patients learn self-efficacy skills that will help realize their individual potential as they manage a lifetime with congenital heart disease.
