Mark Paulos, MD

Co-Director, Men's Health Center

Mark Paulos, MD, is co-director of The Miriam Hospital’s Men’s Health Center. He began his career as associate faculty at Presbyterian-Shadyside Hospital at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. During his 12-year tenure, he was a leader in preventive health screening and championed access to mental health services. Dr. Paulos joined the Men’s Health Center in 2013 and has a dual appointment in the departments of internal medicine and urology. His practice focuses on the link between sexual health disorders and metabolic and cardiovascular health.

He has co-authored articles on the link between metabolic syndrome, erectile dysfunction and cardiovascular health, and he has written on the metabolic link between testosterone and bone health in men. He is a member of the American Society for Men’s Health and the Sexual Medicine Society of North America.
