Peter M. Barth, MD


Peter M. Barth, MD, is a hematologist/oncologist at Lifespan Cancer Institute who specializes in the treatment of benign and malignant blood disorders. He completed his residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia and his fellowship at Rhode Island Hospital with Brown University. He has presented his work on platelet disorders and blood count abnormalities on a national level. His research interests are in the treatment of plasma cell neoplasms such as multiple myeloma. He is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the International Myeloma Society and the American Medical Association.
