Sara M. DiNardo, DMD, FAGD

Sara M. DiNardo, DMD, FAGD, is located at Rhode Island Hospital’s Samuels Sinclair Dental Center, where she is the assistant director of the Joseph S. Sinclair General Practice Residency Program. As a clinical instructor of surgery at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Dr. DiNardo provides hands-on training to medical residents and fellows. She completed her postdoctoral training in hospital dentistry and specializes in treating special needs and medically compromised patients.  She also enjoys volunteering in the community, offering oral hygiene workshops to special needs group homes and participating at Special Olympics Special Smiles each year.

Dr. DiNardo is also a certified yoga instructor and implements breathing techniques and mindfulness to help her patients manage any anxiety that may come with dental treatment. She was awarded the 2017 Medical Staff Association Service to Patients award for demonstrating outstanding contributions to patients above and beyond the call of duty, including promotion of clinical knowledge, professionalism, leadership in medicine, and excellence in practice management.
