Sebhat Erqou, MD, PhD


Sebhat Erqou, MD, PhD, is a cardiologist at Lifespan Cardiovascular Institute. His research areas include preventive cardiology with a focus on cardiovascular disease risk factors, racial differences in outcomes, and the link between HIV and heart disease.

Dr. Erqou has been honored with the Young Investigator Award three times by the Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the Ethiopian Public Health Society and the American Medical Association.
