Vanessa Wu, PhD

Vanessa Wu, PhD, is a clinical psychologist with the Adult Partial Hospital Program at Rhode Island Hospital. Dr. Wu completed her PhD in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, Alliant International University, San Diego. 

Dr. Wu completed her clinical psychology residency at the Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center, Hawaii. She completed her fellowship in clinical psychology at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Rhode Island Hospital. Her clinical interests include working with PTSD and other trauma-related issues, and her research is focused on trauma, emotion regulation, and cultural issues affecting patients. 
 
Dr. Wu is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Asian American Psychological Association, and the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science. She is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
