Irina Gorbounova, MD

Pediatrician

Irina Gorbounova is a board-certified pediatrician at Hasbro Children’s Hospital’s Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and the director of the Mind-Gut Wellness Clinic. In addition, she is an assistant professor of pediatrics at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. 

She earned a medical degree from Boston University’s Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. She completed a general pediatric residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York and a pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition fellowship at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Gorbounova has presented at numerous conferences and collaborated on medical research published in academic journals.

Dr. Gorbounova is a member of the North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Medical Association.
