Don C. Yoo, MD is the director of nuclear medicine at The Miriam Hospital and a professor of diagnostic imaging at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He graduated from the State University of New York Science Center at Brooklyn. He completed his residency at Rhode Island Hospital and The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and his fellowship at the Joint Program in Nuclear Medicine at several hospitals in Boston. Dr. Yoo has specialized training in nuclear medicine and positron emission tomography (PET). His main area of interest is in oncologic applications of PET.  

Dr. Yoo is heavily involved in teaching radiology residents and medical students at The Alpert Medical School, serving as the director of medical student radiology education and the co-director of the general radiology elective. Dr. Yoo has presented on nuclear medicine and PET/CT at many national meetings and been a grand rounds speaker at several academic institutions. Dr. Yoo is also involved with several national organizations, including the American College of Radiology (ACR), where he is the chair of the ACR Commission on Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging.
