Sarah Hagin, PhD

Director, Feeding Program, Hasbro Children's Hospital

Sarah Hagin, PhD, is director of the feeding program and a pediatric psychologist in the division of child and adolescent psychiatry at Rhode Island Hospital and its Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Dr. Hagin specializes in the treatment of pediatric gastrointestinal and feeding disorders. She is the project manager of the Pediatric Psychiatry Resource Network (PediPRN) at Bradley Hospital, and an assistant professor in the department of psychiatry and human behavior at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Dr. Hagin received her undergraduate degree from University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She completed both her master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology (specializing in health psychology) from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She completed a clinical child/pediatric psychology internship at Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital in Baltimore, and completed her fellowship training at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital.

Dr. Hagin’s research interests are in the areas of pediatric gastroenterology, nutrition, and liver diseases, health promoting behaviors in children with chronic illnesses, and integrating behavioral health care into the medical setting.
