Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Research Design, and Informatics

Providing collaborative research design, data analysis, data management, logistics support, and regulatory support to the basic, clinical, and translational researchers in the state of Rhode Island since 2004. BERDI receives support from the Brown University Health Office of Research, many of our clinical departments and foundations, and grants like Advance-RI.

Different Ways to Work with BERDI

There are a variety of ways to work with BERDI as an individual or as a group (e.g. Department):

  • General support – Appointments are available to anyone without charge, as availability permits.
  • Dedicated support program – Embedded BERDI support, with work prioritized by the customer.
  • Pooled support program – Shared access to a pool BERDI members.
  • Grants – We collaborate both as scientists and by providing specialized services.

Different Ways BERDI Can Work with You

Support can be engaged at any phase of the research process. Types of support include conceptualization, pragmatic design in context, framing and storytelling, governance, execution and data acquisition, data analysis, and dissemination.
