Lifespan Primary Care Services

Throughout the Lifespan system, our hospitals and affiliated practices offer primary care services focused on preventive medicine and keeping you healthy. Internal medicine physicians see patients 18 and older; family medicine physicians see patients of all ages, from infants to seniors; and pediatricians see children from birth to age 21. Our primary care services include:

  • Diagnosis and treatment of major and minor illnesses
  • Annual check-ups and physical exams
  • Management of chronic illness
  • Immunizations
  • Minor surgery and minor emergencies
  • Preventive screenings
  • Coordination of specialty care

Adolescent Healthcare Center

Our center provides primary and specialty care for young people ages 10 to 25. The practice includes physicians, nurses, nutritionists and mental health clinicians. In addition to caring for patients, our team members actively participate in education and research. Learn more

Center for Primary Care, Rhode Island Hospital 

The Center for Primary Care at Rhode Island Hospital promotes preventive health care and provides general evaluation of medical problems, as well as comprehensive medical care for women. Patients must be 18 years of age or older and are seen by appointment only. 

Hasbro Children's Primary Care

The pediatric primary care team at Hasbro Children's Hospital is a group of pediatricians and specialists who provide routine health check-ups, treat illnesses, and staff the hospital's lead and immunization clinics. Learn more

Medicine Pediatrics Primary Care Clinic

Our clinic provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages. Our practice includes physicians, nurses and mental health clinicians. In addition to caring for patients, all of our physicians are on faculty at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Learn more

The Miriam Hospital Primary Care Clinic

We are a resident teaching practice, where doctors are continuing their training, working side-by-side with our attending physicians. Together, they provide healthcare to those patients requiring follow-up, but who are without a primary care physician. As a patient, you may be seen by one or more of our team of doctors, each delivering consistent and individual care.

Women's Medicine Collaborative Primary Care
