Bradley Hospital
Welcome to Bradley Hospital
Founded in 1931, Bradley Hospital, a teaching hospital for The Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University, was the nation’s first psychiatric hospital exclusively for children. Today, it provides expert, family-focused care to children and adolescents with psychological, developmental and behavioral problems through a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, residential and partial hospital programs.
Lifespan to Become Brown University Health
Later this year, Lifespan will become Brown University Health. Our expanded affiliation is designed to strengthen top-quality patient care, medical education and biomedical research in Rhode Island.
Outpatient Services
Bradley Hospital offers comprehensive outpatient mental health evaluation, treatment and services for children, adolescents and families from southern New England.
Inpatient Services
Child and Adolescent Inpatient Programs at Bradley Hospital are for children ages 3 to 18 who suffer from serious disorders and need short-term stabilization assessment and treatment.
Partial Hospital Programs
Bradley's day and afternoon partial programs offer practical alternatives to hospitalization and traditional outpatient services for kids with emotional, behavioral or relationship issues.
Research to Free the Future
The advanced research and innovative treatment at Bradley Hospital is opening the world of opportunities for young people facing behavioral health challenges. Today’s Mental Health Care for the Future of Young People
A mental health crisis is affecting American children and their families.
Bradley Hospital’s unique programs provide the quality care and services needed, regardless of any barriers. Our partnerships with hospitals, academic and community centers across the nation help us to reach more young people who have limited access to trained and experienced behavioral health experts.
Our inpatient, outpatient, and residential programs focus on family relationships and shared beliefs about illness, resulting in positive outcomes for everyone. Bradley Hospital is at the forefront of the changing way care is delivered.
Watch our doctors, clinicians, and partners share Bradley’s triumphs to move behavioral health towards the future.
