CPAP/BiPap (Obstructive Sleep Apnea) Equipment
Continuous positive airway pressure machines and bilevel positive airway pressure machines are used to treat obstructive sleep apnea, a condition that causes individuals to stop breathing for a few seconds at a time throughout the night. These devices gently blow air through a mask into your airway in order to keep tissues in your throat from collapsing and stopping your breathing.
These devices consist of a small motor that compresses room air, a hose to deliver the pressurized air, and a mask.
A prescription from your physician is required.
