Lifespan is thrilled to announce the addition of Dr. Meredith C. Wasserman, M.D., MS, to the Minimally Invasive Urology Institute at The Miriam Hospital. She holds an appointment as assistant professor of surgery (urology) at Brown University.
Dr. Wasserman earned a medical degree from The Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University and remained at Brown University to complete a residency in urology. She completed fellowship training in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery, as well as neurourology at New York University’s Department of Urology at Langone Health.

Her areas of clinical expertise include treatment of complex pelvic floor disorders, such as urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, pelvic organ prolapse, and female sexual dysfunction, as well as neurogenic bladder, complex voiding dysfunction, and functional urology in both men and women. She employs robotic, laparoscopic, vaginal and endourologic techniques in the management of these conditions.
