What do I do if I’m sick at night or on the weekend?
If you are sick after hours or on the weekend, please call your primary care office. We will assist you in getting the care you need.
How do I communicate a general health question?
The best way to communicate with your office with general questions is through the Patient Portal. On the patient portal, you can send your practice a message, request an appointment, view your lab results and much more.
What do I do if I’m having an issue with my portal?
Our Portal Support Team is here to guide you through any technical questions you have about using/accessing the patient portal, such as resetting a password and showing you where to find information. To contact our Portal Helpdesk please call 866-779-3655 Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or by emailing a message to portal@coastalmedical.com.
Who do I contact if I’d like to recognize exceptional care or if I have a concern?

How do I become a new patient of Coastal?

What do I do if I have a billing question?
If you have a billing question please call 401-421-0011, Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or email callcenter@coastalmedical.com
What do I do if I have a prescription question?
For prescription refills, please call your pharmacy directly – Coastal is no longer handling prescription refills over the phone. For all other medication questions, please contact your practice. Coastal’s Pharmacy Team is here to help.
How do I get access to my medical records?
Please sign our “Medical Release Form” and submit it to your primary care provider’s office. Download the medical release form (PDF).
As of January 31, 2022, test results that you see on the portal may not yet have been reviewed by your primary care clinician. However, you can rest assured that all this information will be reviewed by your clinician, and information regarding your test results will still be sent to you.
Can I transfer to another Coastal office?
In many cases, yes. Please speak with your practice manager at your current Coastal practice and she/he will assist you with your request.
