W. Scott Walker, MD, FACOG, FACS is a gynecologist at Lifespan Physician Group, Obstetrics and Gynecology and director of Minimally Invasive Gynecology.

A clinical assistant professor in the department of surgery at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, he graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. Dr. Walker completed his residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of AAGL and Alpha Omega Alpha, and has been awarded the Focused Practice Designation in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  

He has also been certified as a COEMIG (Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology) Surgeon by AAGL.  He is course director for the Surgery Elective: Elective in Gynecologic Surgery. He was awarded the 2021 Dean’s Excellence in Teaching Award by Brown Medical School.

Dr. Walker's areas of interest are da Vinci robot-assisted surgery, and advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery.
