Amanda Woodbury, BS, is a research assistant for the Lifespan Clinical Research Center. She earned her bachelor’s in biological sciences from Sacred Heart University. During undergrad she gained 2 years of experience in anthropological research at the Museum of Natural History in New York City. As a postgrad, Woodbury obtained her certified nursing assistant license.

As a research assistant, Woodbury provides critical support to investigators and departments within the organization, including such services as processing and shipping biological specimens. Her laboratory work assists departments including Lifespan oncology clinical research, the Lifespan pediatric oncology department at Hasbro Children’s Hospital, and infectious diseases.
