Christine M. Collins, MBA, RPh, FASHP, is senior vice president and chief pharmacy officer for Lifespan and president, Lifespan Pharmacy, LLC, Lifespan’s retail and specialty pharmacy corporation. She is also a clinical associate professor of pharmacy practice at the University of Rhode Island (URI). She holds an MBA from Bryant University and a BS in pharmacy from URI.

Collins leads all aspects of pharmacy strategy, innovation, and operations, and provides leadership for retail and hospital pharmacies, specialty pharmacy functions, and the 340b program, among other areas.

She has been with the organization since 1987 and is a member of several regional and national professional committees, including two Vizient pharmacy executive councils and the URI Dean’s Advisory Board, College of Pharmacy. She has twice received Lifespan’s Barnet Fain Quality Award and has at various times been named employee of the month, manager of the month, and manager of the year. She is the recipient of several research grants, co-author on many journal articles, and recently served as a panel expert on rising drug prices for a congressional briefing in Washington, DC.

Berard-Collins is a member of the American Society of Health System Pharmacists and a past president of the Rhode Island Society of Health System Pharmacists.
