Cindy L. Benson, MS, CGC, is a certified genetic counselor who works at Rhode Island Hospital and has practiced in the field of genetic counseling for over 15 years. Benson received her master’s degree from Sarah Lawrence College. She has participated in medical school education, resident education and community outreach activities centered on hereditary breast and colon cancer conditions. Her focus is on hereditary cancer conditions in both adults and children.
