Elizabeth Harrington received her PhD in biological chemistry from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the cardiovascular division, department of medicine at the Beth Israel Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston. Her research focuses on elucidating signaling mechanisms key in regulating blood vessel barrier function within the pulmonary vasculature.
