Program Manager

Jillian Bruno is the program manager of the Total Joint Center at The Miriam Hospital. A senior physical therapist and an American Physical Therapy Association Credential Clinical Instructor, Bruno specializes in acute care, with expertise in orthopedic post-operative care. She sees patients at The Miriam and Rhode Island hospitals. She has also contributed to the development of a model for physical therapy utilization as part of the interdisciplinary team in the emergency department.

Prior to joining Lifespan, Bruno was a member of the physical therapy staff at North Shore University Hospital, New York, where she rotated among the departments including wound care, orthopedic/trauma, neurology, and emergency.

She earned a doctorate in physical therapy from Northeastern University and an MBA with a concentration in healthcare management from Salve Regina University.
