Katie Cherenzia, MSN, RN, ACCNS-AG, OCN, is the program manager for the Lifespan Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center. She received her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Rhode Island and her master of science in nursing from Rhode Island College. She is an Oncology Certified Nurse and has had many years of experience with Lifespan, as an assistant clinical manager at Rhode Island Hospital and a clinical staff nurse at The Miriam Hospital. She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society, the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists, and the American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation.
