Kevin Wright has been involved with transfusion-free medicine and surgery for some 20 years, lecturing both nationally and internationally on this topic.
He is a member of the Rhode Island Hospital Transfusion Committee and a member of the Society for the Advancement of Blood Management (SABM). Wright has written articles and also served as an associate editor for the SABM newsletter. He works closely with patients, coordinating their care and providing appropriate directives. He acts as liaison among patients, physicians and staff.
