Kimberly A. Starks-Mello BSN, RN, NE-BC, earned her bachelors of nursing from the University of Rhode Island.
Mello is Nurse Executive board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and brings twenty years of nursing experience to her role, including a background in medical-surgical telemetry nursing. She served as a nurse leader on the inpatient medicine team for six years. Prior to joining Lifespan, Mello worked in community health and primary care for Providence Community Health Centers at various sites, including Crossroads Rhode Island.
Mello belongs to the American Nursing Association (ANA) and is an active member of the Organization of Nurse Leaders (ONL).
