Kyle MacGovern, LMHC-A (she/her), is a master’s level mental health counselor and art therapist. MacGovern earned her undergraduate degree from Assumption College majoring in Graphic Design in Worcester, MA. Through her interest in mental health and art she discovered art therapy. From there, she went on the received her Masters in Mental Health Counseling, and Art Therapy from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA.
MacGovern has worked in a variety of setting including day treatment centers, and school systems. She is currently working with the Adolescent Inpatient Units, Center of Autism and development Disabilities partial programs, as well as adolescent partial and residentials programs. MacGovern believes when utilizing creative expression combine with a safe, and appropriate space can help an individual understand and process ideas and emotions in ways they may not even be aware of previously.
