Mary Sullivan, PhD, MA, BSN, is chief nursing officer for Bradley Hospital. She is responsible for nursing care delivery across all services in the hospital and is a member of the senior management team. In addition, Dr. Sullivan supervises the hospital’s infection control, family liaison, and utilization management departments. She joined Bradley Hospital in 1991 as director of utilization management.
Before coming to Bradley, Dr. Sullivan was a program director at Charles River Hospital in Wellesley and Norwood Hospital, both in Massachusetts, where she provided specialized mental health services to their psychiatric programs. Previously, she was a nurse manager on a 15-bed acute adolescent psychiatric inpatient unit as well as a nurse educator at Charles River Hospital.
Dr. Sullivan received her bachelor of science degree in nursing/psychology from Saint Joseph College in West Hartford, Connecticut. After completing her master’s degree in psychology at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, she earned a doctorate in grief counseling from Breyer State University in Kamiah, Ohio.
