Michaela Ferreira earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education from Providence College. Ferreira also received her master’s degree in severe intellectual disabilities from Rhode Island College. Ferreira is an elementary special educator in a local school district and adjunct professor at Roger Williams University, but during the summer months works as a program coordinator and case manager for the Lifespan Summer Youth Employment Program, assisting young adults to engage in employment opportunities.
