Samantha Lawton, BS, is a regulatory coordinator for the Lifespan Office of Cancer Research at the Lifespan Cancer Institute. She joins Lifespan with experience in retail pharmacy operations, inventory management, and regulatory compliance. She received her bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Rhode Island and her associate degree in arts with a concentration in physical science from the Community College of Rhode Island.
Prior to joining Lifespan, Samantha was employed with the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency as the emergency management planning branch chief where she was responsible for the oversight and management of all planning, program development, and program implementation activities as well as the state’s emergency management accreditation. She also supported the Rhode Island Department of Health throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
