Sara Hilsman, RD, LDN, provides patients of the Center for Bariatric Surgery, the Kidney Stone Center, and the Minimally Invasive Urology Institute at The Miriam Hospital with diet and nutrition guidance, counseling, and education in support of their weight loss goals, surgery, and follow-up. She is a registered dietitian and a licensed dietitian nutritionist.
Prior to joining Lifespan, she was with Healthcare Services Group, Inc., where she continues to support long-term care and short-term rehabilitation patients with their nutrition needs. Hilsman also serves patients of the New Horizon Medical Center in Foxboro, Massachusetts.
Hilsman is a certified intuitive eating counselor. She earned a bachelor of science degree in nutrition and dietetics, and a bachelor of arts degree in gender and women’s studies at the University of Rhode Island.
