Sharon Vessella, MSW, LICSW, is a psychotherapist in women’s behavioral medicine at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative. She received her master’s degree in social work from Simmons College School of Social Work in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to joining the Women’s Medicine Collaborative, Vessella worked as a perinatal clinical social worker in an inpatient women’s specialty hospital with pregnant and postpartum women for 25 years. Her clinical interests include mood and anxiety disorders, pregnancy and postpartum support, and grief and loss.
