Susan Foley began her work as a research associate in 2003 managing the Digital Mammography Screening Trial sponsored by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and the American College of Radiology Imaging Network (ACRIN). She enrolled 642 patients in less than 8 months and followed them to the completion of the trial. She has also coordinated trials investigating various thrombolytic agents, renal and carotid artery stenting, percutaneous ablation techniques, blood biomarkers in Breast and Lung cancers as well as, neuro and oncologic imaging.
