Zoe Kandakai earned a bachelor’s degree in both africana studies and public health education and promotion at Rhode Island College. Prior to joining Lifespan, Kandakai worked as a certified nursing assistant for eight years in clinical and classroom settings. She remains active in her community, most recently being a part of coordinating the 16th Annual Health Summit with African Alliance of Rhode Island. In her current role, she coordinates the Workforce S.T.A.T. Nursing Assistant program.
