Abigail A. Donaldson, MD

Medical Director, Eating Disorder Program, and Interim Adolescent Medicine Division Director, Hasbro Children's Hospital

Abigail A. Donaldson, MD, is board certified in both adolescent medicine and pediatrics, and is an attending physician in the division of adolescent medicine at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Dr. Donaldson is medical director of the hospital’s Eating Disorder Program, and a certified specialist in eating disorders by the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. She is also the Interim Adolescent Medicine Division Director at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Dr. Donaldson is an assistant professor of pediatrics at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Dr. Donaldson’s work on adolescent bone health, sexual health and eating disorders has been published in many peer-reviewed journals and other scientific publications. Her areas of interest include eating disorders, sexually transmitted infection prevention, and contraception counseling and management. Dr. Donaldson is a member of the national and local chapters of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals.
