Andrew C. Martina, MD

Andrew Martina, MD, is a fellowship-trained psychiatrist in Lifespan’s psychiatry and behavioral health department.

He earned his medical degree at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York, and served his psychiatry residency, including a year as chief resident, at the University of Rochester Medical Center, in Rochester, New York. Dr. Martina completed a fellowship in consultation-liaison psychiatry at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and a certificate program in electroconvulsive therapy at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.

Among Dr. Martina’s honors is the Richard Carl Albery Jaenike, MD Award, presented by Albany Medical College for outstanding performance in clinical psychiatry by a graduating resident.

Dr. Martina is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Medical Association, and the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry.
