David Curley, MD, PhD, is the medical director of the emergency department at The Miriam Hospital. Prior to his appointment to this position, he served as the department’s associate director for four years, which included during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Curley is an active member of many key committees, including co-chair of Lifespan’s Emergency Preparedness Committee. He joined Brown Emergency Medicine in 2014 after completing his emergency medicine residency at the combined program of Brigham & Women’s and Massachusetts General hospitals. He received his medical degree and PhD from the University of Vermont College of Medicine.
