David Paley Lichtenstein, PhD

David P. Lichtenstein, PhD, is a psychologist at Bradley Hospital’s Verrecchia Clinic for Children with Autism and Developmental Disabilities and a clinical assistant professor in the department of psychiatry and human behavior at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

He received both his master’s degree and his PhD in counseling psychology from the University of Oregon. After completing an internship at University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, he earned his fellowship at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Dr. Lichtenstein’s clinical experience has focused on children with emotional, behavioral, and developmental disabilities in a variety of settings, including inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, and therapeutic day schools. Through consultation, training, and counseling, Dr. Lichtenstein works with children, parents, teachers, and other caregivers to improve outcomes for those who are struggling. 

He is a member of the American Psychological Association.
