Deborah Rasile, PhD

Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Deborah Rasile has been a psychologist at Rhode Island Hospital since September 1995.  She has worked in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry department, the Children’s Neurodevelopment Center, and provided part time coverage at the Hasbro Partial Hospital Program (HCPHP).  Since 2022, she has been a full-time clinician at the HCPHP where she conducts clinical assessment and provides individual, group, and family therapy to children and adolescents presenting with combined medical and psychiatric illnesses.  Dr. Rasile has particular interest in working with youth with chronic pain and physical symptoms, functional neurological symptom disorder, and eating disorders.   

Dr. Rasile completed her undergraduate and graduate training at the State University of New York at Binghamton, earning her PhD in clinical psychology in 1994. She completed a year-long psychology internship through the Brown University School of Medicine and a year-long pediatric psychology postdoctoral fellowship at Rhode Island Hospital’s Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department through the Brown University School of Medicine.
