Diane DerMarderosian, MD, FAAP

Co-Director, Hasbro Children's Hospital Partial Hospital Program

Diane DerMarderosian, MD, FAAP is a board-certified pediatrician, the pediatric training director of Hasbro Children’s Hospital’s partial hospital program, and a division director in the hospital’s department of pediatrics. As the pediatric training director, she is a mentor to trainees from a broad range of disciplines and levels of training. She is also an associate clinical professor in pediatrics at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

She earned a medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai’s humanities and medicine program. She completed her pediatrics residency training at Brown University.

Prior to her current position, Dr. DerMarderosian worked as a primary care pediatrician in a Boston community health center and served as the medical director of Hasbro Children’s Hospital’s Eating Disorders Program.

She has received several awards for her teaching and clinical work including The Dean’s Excellence in Teaching Awards from Brown University and the Hasbro/Brown AMS Clinical Champion Award in the department of pediatrics.

Her research relates to the integrated family-based care treatment model. Her clinical interests include integrated care for patients with complex medical and psychological issues, medical considerations for patients with eating disorders, functional neurologic presentations, and the role of the family in the treatment of children and adolescents.
