Haley Leesley, MD, is a thoracic surgeon with the Lifespan Thoracic Surgery Center, and an assistant professor of surgery at Brown University. Her special interests are lung and esophageal cancer with a focus on minimally Invasive approach, as well as benign disease of the chest wall, foregut, and thoracic cavity.

Dr. Leesley gained extensive surgical experience during a general surgery residency at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and a cardiovascular and thoracic surgery fellowship at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.

She earned a master’s degree in physiology and biophysics from Georgetown University in Washington, DC and a medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans.

Dr. Leesley is a member of the American College of Surgeons.
