Neurologist

Jason Richards, MD is a neurologist with the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at Rhode Island Hospital. Dr. Richards was previously an attending neurologist at New York- Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, Brooklyn, NY. 

Dr. Richards received his undergraduate degree in mathematics and chemistry at Tufts University. He earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. After medical school, Dr. Richards completed his internship in internal medicine and residency training in adult neurology at the University of North Carolina Hospitals, Chapel Hill. In 2016, Dr. Richards was named chief resident of the adult neurology residency program. He went on to complete his fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC. 

Dr. Richards is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Epilepsy Society. Additionally, he is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for both neurology and epilepsy.
