Jason Shapiro, MD, is a pediatric gastroenterologist and director of research in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Nutrition and Liver Diseases, director of the Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center at Hasbro Children's Hospital, academic director, division of pediatric gastroenterology, nutrition and liver diseases; and an associate professor of pediatrics and medicine; and clinician educator at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Dr. Shapiro is certified in pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition. Dr. Shapiro was recognized by the New England Chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation with the 2018 Rising Healthcare Leader in IBD award.
