Kathleen Rotondo, MD

Pediatric Cardiologist

Kathleen M. Rotondo, MD, received her medical degree from the University of Vermont and completed a pediatrics residency at the University of Kentucky. She then completed a three-year fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, followed by an additional year of fellowship training in pediatric heart transplantation at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Children's Medical Center of Dallas.

She became the medical director of the pediatric heart transplant program at Children's Medical Center in 1997, and was promoted to associate professor of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical School in 2000.

She joined the staff at Hasbro Children's Hospital in 2003 and is associate professor of pediatrics (clinical) at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Her interests include all aspects of general pediatric cardiology, cardiomyopathies, and resident and medical student education. She is board certified in pediatric cardiology.
