L. Terry Spencer, Jr., MD

Lindo Terry Spencer, MD, is a pediatric pulmonologist at Hasbro Children's Hospital. He serves as associate director for both the pediatric cystic fibrosis center and the pulmonary function laboratory.

Dr. Spencer received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then spent six years at the University of Florida College of Medicine, Gainesville, where he completed his residency and fellowship training.

Before joining Hasbro Children's Hospital in 2020, Dr. Spencer served as a physician at the Brevard Health Alliance. Dr. Spencer’s previous academic appointments include professor of pediatrics at the University of Florida College of Medicine, associate professor at the University of Central Florida, and associate physician at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Spencer is a board-certified pediatrician and member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Thoracic Society, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the Society for Pediatric Research. He also serves on the Hasbro Pediatric Surgical Services Council.
