Linda Brown, MD, MSCE is the associate director of the Lifespan Medical Simulation Center. She is a professor of emergency medicine and pediatrics at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University and she previously served as the director of the simulation center from 2016 to 2020. She is currently the vice chair of pediatric emergency medicine for the department of emergency medicine. Dr. Brown received a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Colby College and a medical degree from Pennsylvania State College of Medicine. She completed a pediatric residency at Hasbro Children's Hospital and a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. During her fellowship, Dr. Brown also received a Master's of Science degree in clinical epidemiology from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a well-published and funded researcher with her focus on improving pediatric resuscitation through the use of medical simulation across healthcare settings.
