Lucia Larson, MD, FACP, Dipl.ABOM is a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine and the director of obstetric medicine at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative. Dr. Larson is a member of the Healthy Way Program team at the Lifespan Lifestyle Medicine Center. She is an associate professor of medicine and division director of obstetric medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She received a medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, graduating with Alpha Omega Alpha honors, and completed her residency in internal medicine at University of Chicago Hospitals.

Dr. Larson completed a fellowship in obstetric and consultative medicine at Women & Infants Hospital. She is board certified in internal medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Larson is past president of the North American Society of Obstetric Medicine (NASOM). In addition, she is a board-certified obesity medicine physician and certified Intuitive Eating counselor. Her clinical and research interests include medical problems in pregnancy, including thromboembolic disease, preeclampsia, cardiac disorders, and diabetes, as well as obesity and lifestyle modification.
