Mariah Stump, MD, MPH, FACP, is an attending physician in Women’s Primary Care at the Women's Medicine Collaborative and an acupuncturist at the Lifespan Physician Group, Lifestyle Medicine Center. She is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and a fellow of the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Stump is doctoring community site preceptor at The Warren Alpert Medical School and teaches internal medicine residents at The Miriam Hospital's Fain Clinic. She received a medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington. She completed her residency at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Stump also earned a master’s degree in public health with a concentration in women’s and reproductive health and adolescent health from Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, and currently serves as the co-chair for the Primary Care Physician's Advisory Committee for the RI Department of Health.

Dr. Stump is board certified in internal medicine. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, and the Rhode Island Medical Society. She completed the International Structural Acupuncture course for physicians at Harvard University through Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Department of Medicine.

Dr. Stump completed a two-year fellowship in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. She is also a certified Vinyasa yoga instructor and movement therapist. Her clinical interests include integrative and lifestyle medicine, fibromyalgia and integrative pain management, mindfulness, acupuncture, yoga, medical education, and women's primary care. She is fluent in English and is conversational in Spanish.

Lifestyle Medicine

Dr. Stump is an acupuncturist at the Lifespan Physician Group, Lifestyle Medicine Center. Her interests include fibromyalgia and integrative pain management, mindfulness, acupuncture, and yoga.

Dr. Stump completed the International Structural Acupuncture course for physicians at Harvard University. She completed a fellowship in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Dr. Stump is course director to the Lifestyle Medicine elective at The Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University as well as co-faculty advisor to the Lifestyle Medicine Interest Group and the Scholarly Concentration in Lifestyle Medicine and Integrative Health at Brown Medical School. She is a certified Vinyasa yoga instructor and movement therapist.
