Meghan C. Sharp, PhD

Psychologist

Meghan Sharp, PhD, is a psychologist at Lifespan Physician Group, Obstetrics and Gynecology and a research scientist in the Women’s Medicine Collaborative research department. She is also a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Dr. Sharp earned her doctor of philosophy degree in clinical psychology from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. She then completed her internship in clinical health psychology at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH, and postdoctoral fellowship in women’s health, psycho-oncology, and intensive care unit psychology at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. 

Clinically, Dr. Sharp specializes in perinatal psychology and provides individual treatment with integrated behavioral health at Lifespan Physician Group, Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Sharp’s research interests include high-risk pregnancy, traumatic childbirth, and perinatal psychosocial adjustment.
