Nishant R. Shah, MD, MPH, MSc, earned his medical degree from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. He completed an internal medicine residency at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, serving an additional year as a chief medical resident. Shah also completed a clinical cardiovascular diseases fellowship at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston and earned an MSc from the Baylor College of Medicine. Most recently, he earned his MPH at the Harvard School of Public Health and completed a non-invasive cardiovascular imaging fellowship at Brigham & Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. 

He has clinical responsibilities at both Rhode Island and The Miriam hospitals and serves as the director of nuclear cardiology at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Providence.
