Ramin Tabaddor, MD, is a sports medicine specialist at the Lifespan Orthopedics Institute and is board-certified with a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine. Dr. Tabaddor is an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

He specializes in hip arthroscopy, hip impingement, gluteus medius tears, sports hernia, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, and rotator cuff repair.

Dr. Tabaddor's research interests include hip and pelvic biomechanics and disorders.

Dr. Tabaddor received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in orthopedics at the Harvard Combined Orthopedic Residency Program, where he also served as chief administrative resident. He had sports medicine fellowship training at Minnesota Sports Medicine/University of Minnesota.

Dr. Tabaddor is a member of several professional organizations including the American Orthopedic Society of Sports Medicine, the International Society of Hip Arthroscopy, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the Rhode Island Orthopedic Society. He is a member of the physician referral network for the US gymnastics team, and is the team physician for the US in-line speed skating team.
